What you are consenting to
When you affirm consent in the app, you authorise creation and use of a face template derived from submitted photographs solely to enroll the named protected person, compare candidate online content, report potential matches, prevent misuse, and maintain service security.
Authority
You confirm the protected person is you or a family member you are legally authorised to enroll. For a minor, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and have authority to consent.
Limits
Biometric information will not be sold, leased, used for advertising, used for general-purpose identification, or used to train general-purpose AI models. Candidate data should be processed transiently where provider capabilities allow.
Retention and withdrawal
Enrollment data is retained only while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, or meet law. You may withdraw consent in the protected-person screen. Withdrawal disables monitoring and initiates destruction of active templates, subject to backup and legal-hold requirements.
No guarantee
Facial comparison is probabilistic. A candidate match must be reviewed and does not establish identity, authorship, wrongdoing, or whether content is synthetic.
This agreement is a technical implementation draft and requires jurisdiction-specific legal review before biometric processing is enabled.
